Zara denim and boots, Thrifted sweater, H&M jacket, Vintage earrings

There is nothing better than catching up with a friend with a cup of coffee in hand. Add something sweet and you are really in for a treat. I personally am a huge lover of the cafe ambience and feel. It is one of the things I miss most from Europe. While Chicago has a ton of great cafes, it is hard to spend a lot of time in the city since I am still a full-time student in the suburbs. Hopefully soon after graduation I will be able to fix that! 

If you haven't been to Magnolia Bakery, I definitely recommend it. It is located right on State Street, across from Macy's. You can't miss it. It was my favorite cupcake place before I went vegan (they have the BEST frosting that will melt in your mouth). For all of the other vegans or vegetarians out there and non-vegans who might be interested, I am thinking about doing a post/s on some of my favorite vegan/vegetarian-friendly food spots. Let me know if that would be something you would want to see. :)

In regards to what I am wearing, I have been living in my tan boots from Zara. Personally, I am not a fan of high-heels, so I appreciate how these boots give me some height but are still very comfortable. I am wearing jeans I picked up at Zara when I was in Spain, a thrifted royal blue turtleneck and one of my most favorite jackets. I picked up this jacket on sale a few years ago from H&M and I still love it to this day. It is quite warm and receives a lot of complements. I like it a lot because it reminds me of Audrey Hepburn. Lastly, I finished off with some vintage blue earrings. Hope you enjoy!
